Al Ettifaq boss Steven Gerrard is targeting free agent David de Gea, as per the Sun.
The former Manchester United goalkeeper remains without a club since the end of his deal over the summer.
United opted to sign Andre Onana from Inter Milan and preferred not to renew De Gea's deal.
The 33-year-old held talks with Real Betis afterwards, but failed to reach an agreement.
Gerrard is now keen on bringing the Spainard to Al-Ettifaq.
He earned up to £375,000 per week during his time at Old Trafford.
