Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Dylan Abbott and I’m a senior at Cox Mill High school. If I am selected to play for a college golf team, my goal is to help my teammates as much as I can in every way, whether it be morale-boosting or help with their swing, and hopefully win championships. I have a fierce determination to be a better golfer every day and practice whichever part of my game needs the most improvement as much as I can. I currently shoot around 74-75, and have shot under par quite a few times.
Some other things about me:
- Was a boy scout for 4 years.
- Plays the piano and competed in competitions for 7 years, receiving top 5 pianists for my age in North Carolina.
- Is a native and fluent speaker of Chinese.
- Is a world traveler.
- Has played golf my whole life.
- Loves to fish.
- Adobe certified in Photoshop and Illustrator.
